Change in the Management Board of the LÄPPLE Group

The LÄPPLE Group is pleased to announce that Veronika Zelger (51) has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the group with immediate effect. In this position, she will be responsible for all financial matters at LÄPPLE.

Veronika Zelger succeeds Jörg Rödel, who previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer—alongside CEO Stephan Itter—as the second member of the LÄPPLE Group's Executive Board. He has decided to take on a new challenge. During his two-year tenure, he oversaw the transformation of the business units' operations and helped develop a forward-looking strategy.

In view of the current economic situation and the associated challenges in terms of financing issues, the LÄPPLE Group's executive board will now once again consist of a CEO and CFO. Production issues have been strengthened in recent years, have clear strategies, and will now be managed directly in the respective business units.

“I am looking forward to my new role and am motivated to work with the management team and employees to create the right structures and processes for the future of the LÄPPLE Group. It is important to me to bring projects to a successful conclusion and to further develop the company's financial strategy,” explains Veronika Zelger.
